Libertarian Party of Marion County Vice Chair Sam Goldstein had a letter to the editor published in yesterday's edition of the Indianapolis Star. It is titled
No thanks for people footing the big bill.
Sam points out that during the ground breaking ceremonies Indianapolis Mayor Peterson failed to thank the taxpayers of Marion County and its neighbors, who are mostly involuntarily funding the stadium.
His letter can also be summed up as "Sewers not Stadiums" and "Cops not Colts" (slogans courtesy of Kevin Fleming and Fred Peterson, local Libertarian activists who attended the groundbreaking with their slogans on signs).
