WXNT's Abdul Hakim-Shabazz

Abdul Hakim-Shabazz is the morning drive host for WXNT 1430 AM in Indianapolis. His Abdul in the Morning Show is turning into one of the best shows on Indiana and Indianapolis politics.

Abdul's secret is he involves Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians as guests and when he's taking a day off, as guest hosts. For Daniel's state of the state address, he had commentary from Libertarian Party of Indiana Executive Director Dan Drexler, Democrat Executive Director Mike Edmondson and at the time, soon to be GOP State Chair Murray Clark. The issues get out, are discussed, and Abdul plays no favorites. He asks tough questions to all.

I ran across Abdul tonight in downtown Indianapolis. It was nice that he asked about the LPIN state convention and that it will be held at the end of April.
