Cal Thomas is calling for a third party, congressional Republicans are outspending their Democratic predesessors, approval ratings of both Gov. Daniels and Pres. Bush are at historical lows.

It's a good time to be a Libertarian.

Can we capitalize on this opportunity?

Kenn- Of course we can capitalize. We need to be at our best right now, making compelling statements in the media for the disaffected to choose Libertarians.

Right now, I think it is important to tell the disaffected that they need to put their vote at stake for the GOP. Republicans can comfortably ride it out unless they feel the votes and dollars slipping away, and can see them going to the Libertarian Party.

More importantly, we need good people to accept the role of Libertarian candidate. Without actual alternatives on the ballot, there may as well not be more than one party.
