Republicans Target Alleged Economic Crimes - And I Thought the Communist Party USA Was All But Gone Too

Here's an interesting article on the Ludwig von Mises Institute web page titled "Republicans Target "Economic Crimes"". It makes the case that the old Soviet anti-free market legislation, criminal laws and tactics are now being used by the Republicans.

While the article focuses on the current debates on oil companies, make no mistake about it - small businesses are being targeted daily by United States Attorneys in most every federal district in this nation. It makes for good political fodder to go after businesses for enterprise.

It also makes me wonder - should Back Home Again in Indiana be renamed Back Home Again in the USSR?
