Last night, it was my pleasure to have dinner with Kevin Knedler in downtown Indianapolis. Kevin was recently elected vice chairman of the Libertarian Party of Ohio. He is a top sales manager for Scotts Company and was at the Do it Best convention in Indianapolis. We had dinner at Mo's, A Place for Steaks at the corner of Pennsylvania and Maryland streets.
This morning, I called the Abdul in the Morning Show on WXNT 1430 AM in Indianapolis to wish Abdul Hakim Shabazz an Happy Birthday. He's only been on the air for 1 1/2 years, but he's changed the face of Indianapolis morning radio. His show has become the place for politicians of all stripes to be heard. It's the place to find out what really is going on in Indiana and Indianapolis. And the key to his success is that Abdul openly solicits participation from all sides of an issue, and asks them all fair and probing questions. I hope he's on the air for years to come.
