What was Greg Walker thinking?
Did it not occur to him that he was splitting the Republican vote?
Did he not know that the district has a 35 percent Democrat base? That it would take only a 15 percent GOP shift to elect a Democrat?
Did Walker not realize that by defeating an influential conservative Republican, Bob Garton, he would anger more than 15 percent of the Republicans?
Did Walker not realize that he was handing this district to the liberal Democrats?
I wonder if Greg Walker has seen the Coriden signs being planted in the yards of Republicans? Did he notice the Johnson County Republicans refuse to include him on their list of candidates?
Flogging is not the problem. Party-splitting is problem. With Republicans like this, who needs Democrats?
On Nov. 7, people can take this district back from the party-splitter by electing Kenn Gividen to the Indiana State Senate.
