The Indianapolis Star published a short op/ed by me titled "Let's design tax system that can't be manipulated".
It is published along pieces written by Senator David Long of Fort Wayne, Senator Luke Kenley of Noblesville and Eric Miller of Advance America. The Star has a short article on the four of us titled Searching for solutions.

Great job, Mark! Keep it up!
• Until voters force government to cut spending, over-taxation will persist.
• Not all taxes are created equal. The property tax is particularly nuciferous (nuts) in that it consitutes rent payable to a government entity. That translates into government ownership.
• Regarding flat income tax, I believe zero is a nice flat number.
Meanwhile, I support any tax cut that isn't merely a shuffling of obligation from one tax form to another.
