Tim Maguire Getting Community Support - He Needs Your Help to Run More Radio Commercials Though

Tim Maguire, Libertarian candidate for Indianapolis City-Council At-Large, is making waves in Indianapolis. Voters are talking about voting for him because he is not an incumbent who put Indianapolis in such a mess, he is for less spending and more responsible tax policies and he'd be a check and balance on the local failed Republican and Democratic parties. He needs more funds to reach more votes and take advantage of the interest in him this year.

The influential local blog, Advance Indiana, reports that Republicans are talking privately of splitting their ticket and voting for Tim.

A local political action committee likes Tim and is about to distribute 100,000 pieces on their favorites for City-County Council, including Tim! This PAC supports Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians who are for fewer taxes and less spending.

The Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police has endorsed Tim! Read the September 11, 2007 press release announcing their endorsements by clicking here.

Tim is about to buy radio time. Right now, he is making arrangements to make the following buys:

WXNT 1430 AM - talk radio, the local FOX news affiliate and the home of the popular morning show that is listened to by all who want to be in the know about the city - Abdul in the Morning. This also will run on Neal Boortz. Advertisements will start next week and run from 6 am to 8 pm, Monday through Friday, and 7 pm to 10 pm Saturday (Free Talk Live) through the election.

WTLC 1310 AM - many of my friends say the African-American vote in this city is upset with the status quo, but don't know who are the reasonable alternatives to the current failed incumbents. Tim's commercials will show he is the alternative for them. This popular gospel station also has the influential Amos Brown's talk show in the afternoon. Tim's campaign can currently afford to run one week of commercials on this station, from 6 am to 8 pm, one commercial an hour.

WWFT 93.9 FM - talk radio in Indianapolis, including the very popular Sean Hannity. The campaign can currently afford to run one week of commercials on this station, from 6 am to 8 pm, one commercial an hour.

WNTR 107.9 FM - this is a popular Adult Contemporary station. The campaign can currently afford to run one week of commercials on this station, from 7 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm, one commercial an hour.

WXLW 950 AM - this is the ESPN affiliate. The campaign can currently afford to run one week of commercials on this station, from 6 am to 7 pm, one commercial an hour.

Tim's campaign would like to buy another week of commercial time on WTLC, WWFT, WNTR, and WXLW.

Here's what he needs to do this:

WXLW: $1325
WWFT: $1400
WNTR: $1800
WTLC: $ 723
