Libertarian Party of Allen County Meeting January 21 - New Chair is Topic

Here's the release from the Libertarian Party of Allen County:

"The Libertarian Party of Allen County monthly meeting is on Monday, January 21st at the main branch of the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne. We are in Meeting Room B from 6:30PM - 8:00PM.

Invite your friends, family, or anyone else who might be interested in shaking up the current two party system with less government and more freedom.

For those of you who haven't already heard, Jennifer Jeffrey has resigned as the LPAC Chair. Her replacement will be approved at this meeting.

Proposed Agenda:

6:45 - Convene the meeting. Approve the agenda.
6:50 - Approve new chair to replace Jennifer 7:00 - Call/suggestions for for guest speakers at next meeting - quick brainstorming 7:10 - Ask for a volunteer to contact guest speakers
7:15 - Talk about Annual April 15th Tax Protest, suggest working with Fair Tax people 7:20 - Ask for volunteer(s) to help organize Tax Protest
7:25 - Reminder about LPAC Convention
he'd like to speak, if he is seeking nomination I would like him to.
7:30 - Related to convention, opinions on how to get more people at meetings. What means of communication (phone, email, letter, etc.) works best for the membership?
7:45 - Ideas for a shortlist of meeting locations for February. Where do people want to meet? Places they like? Places they can't/don't want to go back to?
7:45 - 8:00 - Other business
8:00 - Close the meeting. Encourage people to stay and chat.
