From George Will's latest Newsweek column: "McCain, who is easily aggravated and sometimes seems to think that whatever aggravates him should be illegal, said "all of us are aggravated" by high-spending self-financing candidates."
It is my opinion that John McCain hates free speech, likes incumbents, and will do whatever it takes to preserve incumbents like himself and his political friends. Free speech aggravates him, so it should be illegal, especially in the political arena. The proof is in one of the most unconstitutional pieces of legislation since the Alien and Sedition Acts - the McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance Bill, also known as the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act - also know as the number one reason to vote for someone other than John McCain for President.
McCain's biggest problem - the people from all political parties who will do more to see him defeated, than to get someone else elected. The reason - McCain-Feingold. Much like the Alien and Sedition Acts stained John Adams legacy, McCain-Feingold campaign finance laws will do the same to John McCain.
