James Burns, who is seeking the Libertarian Party nomination for President of the United States will be in Wayne County Thursday, March 6th, to answer questions concerning his views on issues facing Americans in this election. Mr. Burns will be at the home of Wayne County LP chairman Rex Bell at 17059 State Road 38, Hagerstown, at 6:30 P.M. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

"Indiana, and particularly Wayne County has a lot of strong Libertarian support" said Burns. "I'm looking forward to working with the Libertarian Party in Indiana to advance the party and it's ideals, and to secure my nomination at the national convention in Denver this May."

According to Bell, Burns is one of thirteen candidates seeking the Libertarian nomination. "A lot of Libertarians, along with a lot of Republicans, Democrats and independents were hoping to have a chance to cast their vote for Ron Paul in the November general election" he said. "Now that Dr. Paul has ruled out a third party run, people that want to vote for a Constitutionally limited government will have to find another candidate. That candidate will be on the Libertarian ticket, and it could very possibly be Jim Burns. We appreciate him taking time to visit with us."

The Libertarian Party is the largest third party in the United States. It is the only third party with automatic ballot access in Indiana, which it has had continuously since 1994."

The Richmond Palladium-Item has a story on this titled "Libertarian presidential candidate will visit".
