Latest from Angleton Campaign on Indy Pride Festival Parade and Booth

This is from Ed Angleton, Libertarian candidate for Indiana House District 100:

"I have secured a reservation of the upcoming Indy Pride Festival parade and a booth space at the Festival itself in University Park. We need Candidates and volunteers to march in the parade and man the booth.

The Parade:

· Starts at 10:00 AM.
· Will go from College Ave & Mass Ave, to Vermont St & Mass Ave, to University Park.
· Candidates are encouraged to march in the parade to pass out business cards or whatever campaign paraphernalia they may have. Shake as many hands as possible.
· Volunteers are needed to carry banners, signs etc.
· Marchers will need to be present before 10:00 AM.

The Festival:

· Our Booth is # 38 located near the intersection of Meridian & Vermont.
· The Festival is providing a table and two chairs.
· My wife is donating the use of her artists tent, a second table and two tall folding chairs for the day.
· The tent must go up prior to 10:00 AM
· Volunteers (2) are needed to assist with the set-up of the tent and to stay at the booth for the first shift.
· There will be 5 shifts:
1. 10-12 (Includes Set-up)
2. 12-2
3. 2-4
4. 4-6
5. 6-7 (Includes take-down)
· Candidates should make plans to be at the booth and walk the festival.
· My wife and I will be providing a cooler with ice for use in the booth to hold water and sodas for those working the booth. If we could get the party to supply water and sodas that would be great.
· Food & Beverages will be available for purchase at the Festival.

The parade and booth have been paid for ($125) by the Friends of Ed Angleton (my campaign committee). Contributions from other campaigns to share in the costs would be welcome.

That’s all I can think of at the moment. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.
