Barr to be at the University of Cincinnati on Wednesday

Today I received the following press release from Jessica Mears, founder and President of the University of Cincinnati Bearcat Libertarians (they hope Indiana Libertarians will attend):

"BARR TO VISIT UNIVERSITY OF CINCINNATI

CINCINNATI, OH.,--Libertarian Presidential Candidate Bob Barr will speak to students, faculty, and the general public on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 6:00pm. The event will take place on UC’s campus in Tangeman University Center’s Great Hall and expected to draw over 600 attendees. Barr will be speaking about "America's Leadership Vacuum - Sound Bite Policies in a Challenging and Dangerous World"

Former Congressman Barr will meet with students, faculty and the public immediately following the speaking engagement. The reception will be held at Christy’s Rathskeller on 151 W. McMillian Street. The Bearcat Libertarians will provide food and refreshments. A suggested donation of $5/student and $10/non-student to the Libertarian Party of Ohio is appreciated at the reception.

The Libertarian Party of Ohio Chair, Kevin Knedler, John Stewart, the Ohio Barr Campaign Coordinator as well as Jessica Mears, UC student and President of the Bearcat Libertarians will introduce Barr.

No tickets are required for the event, however donations to the Barr campaign by cash, credit card or check will be accepted at both the speaking event and the reception.
