I learned tonight that Teresa Lubbers, the Republican incumbent in Indiana Senate District 30 has canceled the debate with Libertarian candidate Steve Keltner and the Democrat opponent.
The other night at a forum attend by Lubbers, Keltner and the wife of the Democrat, the debate scheduled at Butler University and moderated by Abdul Hakim-Shabazz of WXNT AM 1430 was still scheduled. But soon after the forum, Lubbers canceled the debate.
Word on the street is that Keltner's performance at the forum far exceeded Lubbers, and the Democrat's performance. Thus my conclusion that Lubbers is scared of taking on Keltner in a debate.
