There are only a handful of municipal races in Indiana in 2009. Vernon elects its council in March, and Montezuma and Cambridge City elect their councils in November. Otherwise, I can recollect no other elected offices up for election in 2009 in Indiana.
But this is not the time to rest. A good campaign takes up to two years of planning, so start now to run for office in 2010.
