The latest notice from the Libertarian Party of Allen County notes that 3rd District Representative Jonathan Bartels has resigned his position as 3rd District Representative on the Central Committee of the Libertarian Party of Indiana.
County chairs in organized counties will pick his successor. Organized county affiliates authorized to participate in the District meeting to pick his successor are Elkhart County, Steuben County and Allen County. The chair of the Allen County party calls the meetings, as it has the largest percentage of voters in the 2008 3rd District Congressional race.
There was no reason stated for Jonathan's resignation.
