Libertarian Rich Bees, the 1999 Libertarian candidate for Indianapolis City-County Council District 3, was recently elected to a second two-year term on the Broad Ripple Village Association Board of Directors. Broad Ripple is a very popular business/entertainment/residential neighborhood located in the north side of Indianapolis.
Bees primary interest is in improving the appearance of Broad Ripple by finding the funds for the neighborhood to purchase its own street and sidewalk cleaning equipment. He is working to get more businesses to join in the Broad Ripple Cleaning Partnership Agreement in order to facilitate this.
