Cato Institute Runs Full Page Ad in New York Times Today

The libertarian-oriented Cato Institute ran a full page ad today in the New York Times challenging President Obama's statement in early January that "(t)here is no disagreement that we need action by our government, a recovery plan that will help to jumpstart the economy."

The Cato Institute respectfully disagrees.

It is signed by hundred's of economists who respectfully disagree with the President, including Nobel laureates and other prominent academics.

It is signed by Libertarian Cecil Bohanon, a professor of Economics at Ball State University.

The same ad will appear in tomorrow's Washington Post. It will run later this week in the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and the Washington Times.

It is scheduled to run in Roll Call next Wednesday.
