Libertarian Party of Wayne County, Indiana Garage Sale September 5th - Also Football Season and Time to Man the Concession Stand and Take Tickets

Here's the latest announcement from the Libertarian Party of Wayne County, Indiana:

"Greetings Wayne County Libertarians and Friends;

What would September be without garage sales and football? Probably pretty boring, huh?

In order to alleviate that boredom, the Libertarian Party of Wayne County announces it's 9th Annual LPWC Neat Stuff Garage Sale, and our first concession stand gig of the new school year.

This year's sale will take place on Saturday, September 5th; Sunday, September 6th; and Monday, September 7th, at 17059 State Road 38, Hagerstown.

On Thursday, September 3rd, at 6:00 P.M., we will set up the tents and tables. We need as many people as we can get for an hour or two that evening.

On Friday, September 4th, starting at 8:00 A.M., we will be setting out merchandise. Our garage is already packed, and we have quite a bit more that we have yet to pick up. If you have something to donate to the sale, we would appreciate it if you could keep it until the sale weekend and then bring it in. If that is a problem, call me and we will work something out. We need a lot of help on Friday. Although we are not officially open until Saturday, our reputation for neat stuff brings in a lot of early shoppers, and the bargains they find gives us the much needed room to display more neat stuff.

Saturday, September 5th, is the big sale day. It starts at dawn and ends at dark. It's always a lot of fun. Come and spend as much time helping out and visiting as you would like.

Sunday, September 6th, is Bag for a Buck Day. We open at noon and close at dark.

Monday, September 7th, is Close-out and Tear-down Day. We will open at 7:00 A.M., and will start clean-up and tear down around 9:00 A.M.

This is our main fundraiser of the year, and along with the antics of the current office holders, will give our candidates a great boost in next years election.

Please mark these dates. I will be sending out more information later.


Also, we will be working the concession stand at the Hagerstown/Tri-High Football game on Friday, September 25th. We need 2 ticket takers at 6:00 and 6-8 concession workers at 6:15. Please keep this date open if you can help.
