Libertarian Party Convention July 1 - 3, 2006 in Portland, Oregon

Now's the time to start planning for the 2006 national Libertarian Party Convention in Portland, Oregon. The Libertarian Party of Indiana will pick its delegates for this national convention at its state convention in Indianapolis, April 28 - 30, 2006. I expect Indiana will received anywhere from 38 - 45 national delegate slots (the final determination is awaiting a determination of our national membership on December 1, 2006).

The convention will be at the Portland Hilton (downtown) July 1 - July 3, 2006. There will be pre-convention activity for workshops, training and meetings on June 29 and 30, 2006.

The official business meeting will be held on July 1 and 2, 2006 with the convention banquet on Sunday night, July 2nd. Monday morning will be a Torch Club breakfast followed by a meeting of the newly constituted Libertarian National Committee.
