Marion County Libertarian Judicial Candidates Asked to Notify JEPAC of Intention to Run

JEPAC just put out this announcement:

"The Judicial Excellence Political Action Committee ("JEPAC") of the Indianapolis Bar Association plans to conduct evaluations on all candidates seeking judicial office in Marion County in 2006. In order to assist us in this process, we ask all candidates to notify JEPAC by December 5, 2005, for inclusion in the judicial evaluation survey. To do so, please contact jarmstrong@indybar.org or call Julie Armstrong at (317) 269-2000."

Libertarian activists and attorneys Michael Caudill, Pfenne Cantrell and Jame Goldstein serve on JEPAC.

By state law, all judicial candidates are selected at the LPIN state convention. The Libertarian Party of Indiana state convention is set for Indianapolis on April 28-30, 2006 at the Waterfront on the westside of the city.

Contact Dan Drexler at the state headquarters 317-920-1994 or at dan.drexler@lpin.org for more information if you are an attorney desiring to seek judicial office under the Libertarian banner in 2006.
