Another Letter to the Editor About Tully's Attack on Libertarians
Another Indianapolis Star reader was compelled to write about Tully's recent column attacking the Libertarian Party of Indiana, and more specifically Libertarian candidate for Secretary of State Mike Kole. The letter is titled "Third-party candidates add to debate, deserve coverage".

Answering Tullyisms...
1. THE CRITERIA ARGUMENT
The Republicans and Democrats set a high criteria for ballot access. Libertarians routinely meet that standard and, as such, have earned the right to participate in debates, news coverage, etc.
2. THE HAMILTON COUNTY ARGUMENT
In Hamilton County, the Democrats are the minor party. In Lake County Republican voters routinely "waste their votes" in that Democratic strong hold. To be consistent, Tully-types should advocate a coverage black-out for Democrats and Republicans in those areas.
3. WHY MENTION IT ARGUMENT
If Libertarians are not worth mentioning in the news, why mention that were not worth mentioning? The very fact that the issue is worth Tully-types comments proves they are wrong. Their argument disproves their position.
4. THE WE WIN ARGUMENT
We do win elections.
