Indiana Senators Support Raising the Minimum Wage and Destroying Small Business

Indiana's Democrat senator Evan Bayh and Democrat senator Richard Lugar recently supported the amendment on the Senate floor to raise the minimum wage to $7.25 an hour. It was unsuccessful.

At least I think Lugar is a Democrat. He supports an anti-poor, anti-small business, anti-worker minimum wage. This support shows that he favors making wages so high, only big corporations can afford them and only the elite in unions get them. Everyone else can just remained unemployed and without hope of improving themselves and getting job experience. This support shows that he favors to perpetuate the so-called "underclass" by making it economically impossible for small business to provide learning opportunities for the less fortunate who are unskilled, but through hard work might better themselves and their families. "Let them eat cake" has now been replaced with "Let them collect welfare".
