Rebecca Sink-Burris was selected as Region Three's alternate representative to the Libertarian National Committee. Region Three consists of Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
Greg Hertzsch was called up to the speaker's dais on Sunday afternoon and asked to take a telephone call during the business meeting! Behind him on the video screens was his contact information and the script being used at the moment to demonstrate the LP's new voter phone bank system. Of course, he was asked to support Eric Schansberg in the 9th District.
Greg had no idea that this was going to happen to him. Fellow delegate Melanie Hughes (Schansberg's campaign manager) and I did though. Greg was a great sport about it and did a great job up on stage before all of the delegates.
