This weekend the LaPorte County Libertarian Party had a booth at the Wanatah Scarecrow Festival. Above are two pictures of the booth.
Libertarian activist Karen Wolf reports on it as follows:
"Despite heavy downpours and lightning at times, turnout was great and we were well received, with numerous people stopping by to inquire about the party and express their displeasure with the R's & D's. Our location was prime - on the corner at two entrances to the vendors' area - so we were able to display Mike's banner with substantial visibility. We had one individual stop by specifically to request a yard sign of Mike's! This was great news and hopefully we'll look for more takers from LaPorte County for lawn advertising!! In addition, we were able to hand out many business cards for Greg Kelver and Steve Osborn, with lots of promise of support in November.
Our festival/fair calendar wraps up next weekend in Westville. We anticipate a continued interest in the party there as well."
