"Candidates square off
The first debate among candidates for statewide office will take place Tuesday in South Bend featuring the four men running for Secretary of State.
The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of South Bend and several other area groups. It starts at 6 p.m. on Indiana University’s South Bend campus.
A media panel will ask questions of the candidates, including Republican incumbent Todd Rokita; Democrat challenger Joe Pearson; Libertarian foe Mike Kole and write-in candidate Bill Stant, of the Green Party."
