Former Federal Election Commission chairman Brad Smith clearly learned one thing while head of the FEC - "campaign finance reform" is a code phrase for "incumbent protection act".
Smith has done well since he left the FEC and formed the Center for Competitive Politics. He is taking on the so-called "campaign finance reforms" and calling them as they are - unethical "voter suppression and incumbent protection acts".
