Wayne County Libertarian Party Convention April 21st

Here's the press release from the Wayne County Libertarian Party:

"Greetings Wayne County Libertarians and Friends:

REMINDER:

The Libertarian Party of Wayne County will hold its 2007 nominating convention on April 21st at 6:00 P.M. The event will be held in the Jefferson Townhip Office, 47 East Main Street, Hagerstown.

Jo Ann Stewart, Voter Registration Supervisor for Wayne County, will give a short presentation and answer questions about the Vote Center Program.
Wayne County is one of two counties in the state taking part in this pilot program, in which the number of polling places will be significantly reduced, while the remaining polling places will be open for several days for voting. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about and express your opinion on the new system.

In addition to electing county party officials, we will also be nominating candidates for the fall elections. These are the town and city elections, areas where Libertarians stand an excellent chance of breaking through.
Wayne County elected Susan Bell in 2003, and Conley Tillson in 2006. Just across the line, Henry County elected Steve Coffman in 2006. The possibilities of continuing the movement towards limited government are very real this year.

Below is a list of offices that are up for election in 2007. Please consider stepping up and running for an office. We have made some amazing progress with our wins in Wayne and Henry County, and we need to keep the momentum going.

We also need a 6th District Representative to the LPIN Central Committee.
