". . . but I really liked the libertarian candidates tonight."

This is a quote from one of the younger voters attending the YLNI (Youth Leaders of Northeast Indiana) candidate forum last week in Fort Wayne.

Read more about this on the ABC TV 21 Alive Indiana's NewsCenter website in the article titled "Young Voters Demand Answers; could make big impact on elections". There is also a link on the website to the broadcast story and the live shot of the gentleman stating this.

YLNI also has a candidate guide that includes the Fort Wayne Libertarian candidates.

Mark, I worked on this committee to put the candidate info and the forum night together for the past 5 months. It was grueling, but worth it.

Turning a group of people towards non-partisanship in appearance is tougher than it looks.

I think we succeeded in the changing of the perspective of what the younger voters in the city are capable of and it was a great success.

And our candidates did very well!!!

When Mike Kole announced his candidacy for Sec of State in LaPorte (2004), he mentioned that each election Libertarian candidates ride on the shoulders of previous candidates.

It seems the hard work and dedication of Libertarians in elections past lend credibility to Libertarians in campaigns present.

Kudos to Jennifer Jeffrey (does she go by "JJ"?) for the excellent effort.
