Tonight at the Shepard for Congress 2008 fund raising dinner, I met for the first time E. Benton Tackett. Benton was the 1984 Lt. Governor candidate in Indiana for the Libertarian Party. Recently, Benton has been working in Iraq.
Fred Peterson, who was the Libertarian candidate for Mayor of Indianapolis in 2007, worked on the Jim Ridenour for Governor/E. Benton Tackett for Lt. Governor campaign. Fred was at the fund raiser as well, and was able to talk with Benton.
