Consultants and Companies for Libertarian Campaigns

It has long been my opinion that Libertarians need to take advantage of the resources and expertise of political consultants and vendors. These people have developed expertise and experience which Libertarians need and should use.

At the Campaign & Elections Politics Magazine seminar The Art of Political Campaigning today, I've talked to many worthy vendors and consultants. I'll write about a few who have booths at the seminar, and of which Libertarians should consider using.

One is Political Media. They do political marketing through web management, graphics, commercials, etc. Their motto is "Inside Politics. . Outside the Box". Larry Ward, an avowed Libertarian (big L), is the President. They only serve Libertarians and Reagan Republicans. Check them out at www.politicalmedia.com. (I saw some of their animated political cartoons - good stuff). They also have a good understanding of small government issues, such as oppressive property taxes, eminent domain abuse, etc.

Another good firm is ElectionMall. They have a great web site with a good menu of services so you can pick what you can afford and need first. Their area of services are in the areas of building, promoting and managing campaigns, raising money and emphera and paraphanelia (yard signs, brochures, etc. ). Their web site is at www.electionmall.com. They have hundreds of small campaigns as clients, because of their ability to offer narrowly tailored services so that small campaigns can afford it, and get only what they need for their campaign.

Lastly, gettyimages is the supplier of images for many political campaigns. By using gettyimages, the campaign doesn't have to worry about costly legal actions for the unauthorized use of photographs. More importantly, gettyimages already has thousands upon thousands of images of high quality, so your campaign doesn't have to create its own (and usually not as good). Their web site is at www.gettyimages.com.
