Mark,
Your notice about the Officer Elections at Deano's Vino on Jan 13 should be for the Marion County Party, not the state as implied in the post.
Thanks Ed. I've corrected the post. This is why blogs aren't yet a consistently reliable form of communications. Only media with copy editors has the level of oversight needed. When someone figures out how to get the checks and balances of copy editors into blogs, blogs will be an incredible source for reliable information.
Editors are extremely important, for it is so easy to make errors. This is why I try to verify information I consider important on a blog through other sources.
Granted, you provided such a service to this blog, and it is Thanksgiving Day, so few people have viewed the error, but I suspect lots of errors by well-intended bloggers such as mine are the rule rather than the exception.
This is one of many reasons why newspapers are suffering and are on the decline, in my opinion. Copy editors are being laid off, not replaced, fired, etc. Most papers are about as accurate as the newspapers of the early part of the 1800's (not always very accurate) and are approaching the same level of typographical errors.
No wonder my wife and I have not subscribed to a newspaper for several years (probably more than 10 years now).
