Rutherford's Atlas Liberty PAC
After the 2006 Libertarian Party national convention, I founded Atlas Liberty PAC along with several friends. It formally started in September 2006.
Its mission is to provide Libertarian candidates (and parties) at all levels the practical, nuts-and-bolts support necessary to become an effective force in local politics. This is because Atlas Liberty is not a think tank, for its focus transcends ideology, positions and principles to focus on the mechanics and hard work of real politics providing the knowledge and resources our affiliates need to win elections.
In November 2010, Atlas Liberty PAC took a big step by naming Evan McMahon to be its Executive Director. Evan has already provided support to several candidates in Nebraska and Indiana, and has worked with volunteers in Ohio.
In the past, Atlas Liberty PAC has provided scholarships for libertarians to attend campaign training programs in Ohio and Washington, D.C. and provided financial support to candidates in Arizona, Texas and Indiana.
You can help by making a contribution to Atlas Liberty by clicking here to help us raise $100,000 in 2011.
Please also take a look at Atlas Liberty PAC on Facebook. Click here to link to Atlas Liberty's Facebook page.

Barr in Indiana on Friday
Here's the latest update on Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr's appearance in Indiana on Friday.
Barr will be speaking at Notre Dame University at 3 pm. EDT. It will purportedly be at Washington Hall.
Barr will then go to Valparaiso University in Valparaiso to speak around 5:30 CST. There will be a meet and greet afterward. Jonathan Morris of the Valparaiso Law School Libertarians is coordinating the Valparaiso events. I do not yet know of the exact locations of the Valparaiso events.
Dan Drexler, vice chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana is working with the Barr campaign on the Indiana events as well.
Many thanks to Dan and Jonathan for working on this at the last minute (campaigns, especially for President, rarely have the ability to plan long-term and when opportunity strikes, all have to take advantage of it with short notice).

Libertarian Party of Wayne County Garage Sale Starts Saturday
Here's the latest update from Libertarian Party of Wayne County chair Rex Bell:
"Hi Folks,
Just a reminder. Our main fundraiser of the year starts Thursday evening at 6:00 when we set up the tents and tables for the BIG garage sale. 17059 State Road 38, Hagerstown.
Friday we will load those tents and tables starting at 8:00 A.M.
Saturday the sale runs from dawn til dusk, regardless of what time we say we are opening or closing.
Sunday, 11:00 til 6:00.
Monday, tear down, starting at 8:00.
We still have space for your donated materials. We made a little over $3250.00 last year, and we need to make a little more this year. We contracted for 5 billboards for our Wayne County candidates, and we are lining up some radio and newspaper ads.
Stop by, meet your candidates, and spend as much time (and money) as you can. It's always a lot of fun.
Hope to see you this weekend.
Rex"

Meet Republicrat Presidential Candidate Sean Masterson - He Craves Your Approval
Click here to see the video about Republicrat Presidential Candidate Sean Masterson - a former TV weatherman with an outstanding 12% accuracy rate on his predictions.
It would be a fun video, if it wasn't a realistic satire on the true nature of America's entrenched one party system controlled by two factions who call themselves Democrats and Republicans.
Click here to get more videos about Republicrats and Masterson for President - here's his platform on the economy"
Economy
"I will double the value of the dollar overnight," says Sean Masterson. How? "By discontinuing the $1 bill and issuing new $2 bills we'll call the new dollar. Exchange your old, weak $1 bills for the new, superstrong $2 bill today! Two is the new one!"
Hmmm - his position on the economy actually makes more sense than Obama's and McCain's positions. Of course, it pales in comparison with Libertarian nominee Barr's economic policies.
Enjoy.
