Rutherford to Speak at John Marshall Law School on Monday
According to Brazil's President, Because I Have White Skin and Blue Eyes, I'm Responsible for the Current World Economic Conditions
According to Brazil's President, because I have white skin and blue eyes, I'm responsible for the current world economic conditions.
What a racist!!!!!!!!! I am personally offended. This is inexcusable.
I hope President Obama and Congress act appropriately and issue appropriate statements vilifying this awful position. People should be judged on their merits and not on their skin color or the color of their eyes. They must act now because otherwise the message to the world will be that President Obama and Congress tacitly endorse the Brazilian President, which I am sure is not their belief.

Message from Politicians - Hard Work is for Losers
Why do the politicians the American people elect hate the American Dream? Learn how an AIG employee reacted to the AIG bonus situation because of politicians who hate it when non-politicians are successful and try to succeed in life. He has resigned from AIG. Read his letter of resignation which has been printed in the New York Times. I bet he's looking to see if there are other countries that reward hard work. It certainly is looking like this is less the case in the United States of America, where those skilled in special interests and manipulating bureaucracies get the rewards, and hard work is for losers.

2006 Indiana Libertarian Candidate for Secretary of State is a Former Democrat
Mike Kole, the 2006 Libertarian candidate for Indiana Secretary of State, is a former Democrat. So is former Libertarian Party of Marion County Chairman Kurt St. Angelo.
To the Libertarian detractors - How can Libertarians "go back" to the Republican Party, when they never were there in the first place!

The Success of American Socialism - Part One - Detroit - an opinion piece by Mark W. Rutherford
Detroit - Exhibit One - How Socialism Works and Becomes "Successful"
Median price of a house as of December 2008 - $7,500 (this is not a misprint).
Junk bond rating (one step above "do not exist").
One third of population and one half of children live in property.
Homicide rate going down because "there just isn't anyone left to kill."
Has lost half of its population over the last 50 years.
Best job available - government bureaucrat enforcing rules that don't count for public safety, ignoring rules that do count for public safety - and help drive out potential business owners - but socialist bureaucracy is a deadly and addictive drug and like a meth user, you start out beautiful and handsome, but end up emaciated with no teeth and no brain power.
Has just had its own version of Watergate.
A SOCIALIST PARADISE FOR ITS ELITES!

Contrary to the Assertations of Some Detractors of the Libertarian Party, Many Prominent Libertarians are Former Democrats
Here are three very prominent Indiana Libertarians who are former Democrats:
Todd Singer, current State Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Indiana
Dan Drexler, current Vice Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Indiana
Ed Angleton, current Vice Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Marion County
Looks to me like former Democrats play a very prominent role in the Libertarian Party of Indiana. Looks to me that some of our Democratic Party detractors should be calling us Democrats in Libertarian clothing, when they attack us.

Several Big Cases Means Infrequent Posting
My law practice is doing fine right now - good news for me but bad news for this blog. Thanks for checking in though! Most law practices are cyclical, and there will be more blog posts in the future.
